Kodak has announced the launch of its TV range in India. The company that is known for making cameras has forayed into TV market and introduced five TVs. These TVs are manufactured by Super Plastronics, which is a license partner of Kodak.

Kodak has launched three Smart TVs and two regular TVs. The 32, 40 and 53 inch Smart TVs come with latest Interface, USB to USB copy, MHL, 4 GB Flash storage, 512 MB memory, MHL and Air Mouse. The 40 and 50 inch TVs sport 300 nits Samsung Panel.

The Kodak 32HD X900S and Kodak FHDX900S are normal TVs. The former comes with 250 nits display brightness, USB to USB copy feature, inbuilt games and Samsung display panel. The 40 inch vanilla TV has 300 nits of Samsung display panel, USB to USB copy feature and some inbuilt games.

Both the 32 inch TVs have 1366×768 pixel resolution while the 40 and 50 inch models have full HD (1920×1080 pixels) resolution. The three Smart TVs have Android KitKat OS,  WiFi and Miracast support. All the TVs come with 2 HDMI and 2 USB ports, except the 50 inch model which has 3 HDMI and 3 USB ports.

The 32, 40 and 50 inch Smart TVs are priced at Rs. 17,000, Rs.25000 and Rs. 36,000 respectively. Meanwhile, thee 32 inch and 40 inch normal TVs will cost Rs 13,500 and Rs 21,500 respectively. The range of TVs will be available from e-stores like Shopclues, Flipkart and Amazon etc from 15th August. 32 inch models will be available exclusively on Shopclues.
